Meet the Team
Marisha Beck, Au.D., CCC-A, CH-TM Owner/Audiologist
Dr. Beck graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008. She has experience working in both private practice and VA. She is knowledgeable in products from all major hearing aid manufacturers. Dr. Beck is a Certificate Holder of Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) and considered to be one of the only experienced tinnitus experts in West Texas. She also has her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She is experienced in working with patients with multiple medical diagnosis in addition to hearing loss and tinnitus to include traumatic brain injury, dementia, substance abuse, and suicide risk.
Dr. Beck is a West Texas native growing up in San Angelo. She and her husband, Jason, have been married since 2005. They have been blessed with 2 daughters. They are active members of College Baptist Church with a heart for working with youth. They also enjoy traveling to baseball stadiums across the country. Dr. Beck has a passion for coaching her daughters in volleyball as well and has coached both daughters in school and at the local YMCA.
Dr. Beck has a passion for training up and coming audiologists and enjoys working with these graduate students in both the classroom and the clinic. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Audiology Program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Beck also volunteers with different local organizations. She is currently the Membership Chair for the Greater Big Spring Rotary Club; she is on the Board of Directors for the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce; she is on the Board of Trustees for Howard College; and she is on the School Board at Runnels Classical Christian Academy.
Ashley Smith, Office Manager
Ashley Smith is a Big Spring native and graduated 3rd in her class at Big Spring High School. She has an Associates Degree in Music from Howard College. She is active in her church at First United Methodist Church and leads hymns on Sundays. She also provides private flute lessons in her spare time.
Ashley is the friendly voice you will hear when you call our office and the first smile when you walk through our door. She is also CAOHC certified and in the process of becoming an Audiology Assistant. She and Dr. Beck have been working together since February of 2019.
Jason Beck, Chief Financial Officer
Jason Beck is a Texas native. He graduated from Texas Tech University with an undergraduate degree in Food Science in 2005 and again with a Master of Business Administration in 2012.
He works behind the scenes as the Chief Financial Officer. However, you may seem him from time to time dropping by for lunch.
